Mentorships, Consultations, & Guidance

Raven Cypress Wood is a spiritual counselor, ritual leader, meditation guide, teacher, Tibetan translator and author. For more than three decades, she has guided individuals through spiritual growth, healing, and personal transformation through private practice as a spiritual counselor. She created and led a spiritual counseling and personalized healing ritual program at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health while also serving her local community as an advocate for at-risk children, and training volunteers to be rape crisis counselors. Today, she continues to serve the community from the foundation of the Yungdrung Bön religious tradition.

She has received many teachings, oral transmissions and empowerments from many different lamas including His Holiness the 33rd Menri Trizin Lungtok Tenpé Nyma Rinpoche, His Holiness 34th Menri Trizin Lungtok Dawa Dargye Rinpoche, His Eminence Menri Yongdzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche, His Eminence Menri Pönlop Yangtön Trinlé Nyima Rinpoche, Khenpo Tenpé Yungdrung Rinpoche, Menri Drubdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin Rinpoche, and many others.

Additionally, she has studied closely with the Yungdrung Bön ritual master Barlé Khenpo Murig Nyima Künchap Rinpoche and assisted him and other lamas in the preparation and execution of many different Yungdrung Bön rituals. These rituals include soul and life-force retrieval, extensive rituals for the deceased, various rituals for the lu [Sanskrit:naga], and blessings of prosperity for the home and property. Additionally, she was instrumental in creating a three-year certification program taught by Khenpo Nyima Künchap Rinpoche for the Longevity Practice and Soul and Life-force Retrieval rituals of the Tséwang Jarima.

Although not an all-inclusive list, these are common examples of why practitioners choose to schedule a one-time or recurring session with Raven:

In addition to consultations, Raven is available on a limited basis for in-person, intensive practice retreats for groups or individuals, especially related to the longevity practice of Tsewang Rikdzin. She is also available for in-person support in the setup, preparation, and execution of intensive personal retreats.

Session Details

In general, once a session has been scheduled, Raven will send a Zoom invitation including a link for the scheduled meeting time. Sessions are generally one hour in length unless there are circumstances that require more time. Payment is according to a sliding scale $55-$125 and is self-determined. However, for those who would find even this a burden due to their current circumstances, one can make a donation of any amount for the session. No one needs to be excluded from support due to financial restrictions.

In some cases, Raven will offer support materials and additional resources. After, and in-between sessions, Raven is available via email if questions related to the meeting arise.
